The WSCTU provides between $100,000 and $150,000 each year to help fund conservation projects in the greater Missoula area. We will also consider conservation projects in other parts of Montana, particularly if they are done in cooperation with other Montana Trout Unlimited chapters.
We prefer to fund projects that relate to fish passage, increased spawning, irrigation screening and stream rehabilitation but will consider others.
If you have a project that you would like us to help fund, please download and complete this form and submit your funding request to our Conservation Co-Chairs, Carey Schmidt at firstname.lastname@example.org or Alec Underwood at email@example.com.
Projects are funded on a first come first served basis and can be submitted at any time in the calendar year. We generally respond within 30 days.
