Upcoming Meetings:

March 18th - Hilary Hutchinson
Stillroom Restaurant conference room
6:30 PM social hour - 7:00 PM presentation

Join us for our next Westslope Trout Unlimited chapter meeting featuring Hilary Hutcheson—Montana river guide, storyteller, and passionate advocate for wild rivers. Hilary will share stories and insights from the Upper Middle Fork of the Flathead River in the Great Bear Wilderness, one of the most spectacular and intact cold-water ecosystems in the Northern Rockies, and a place she knows deeply from years on the water.

Her presentation will also highlight the 50th anniversary of the Flathead River’s designation as a Wild and Scenic River in 2026, reflecting on what that historic protection has meant for fish, wildlife, and people who love wild places. From conservation history to unforgettable river moments, Hilary will offer a look at why the Flathead remains one of Montana’s most treasured watersheds—and why protecting rivers like it still matters today.
