April Chapter Meeting

Our monthly meetings are part of the glue that holds the chapter together and are vitally important to our mission of fly fishing education and cold water conservation. These meetings are FREE and everyone is welcome!

April 9, 2025 Chapter Meeting:

The Future of Conservation and Fly Fishing

Trout in the Classroom

Come see what we're doing to engage the next generation of conservationists. We'll discuss our chapters's educational outreach with Trout in the Classroom, our Youth Fly Fishing Clinics, and more.  How do we reach our youth and what does it mean for our rivers, trout, and the future of fly fishing?

Trout in the Classroom

Featured Presentations:

Laurie Lane and Al Ford have been working with schools in our area to implement Trout in the Classroom (TIC). We started with Hellgate HS and have added Bonner, Clinton, Sentinel, and Washington schools with more to come. This includes sponsoring aquariums in seven classrooms all because of the generous donations from our community. Come see why the teachers and students love TIC!

This is a must-attend event for anglers, conservationists, and anyone who cares about the health of our waters. Bring your questions, and let’s discuss how we can be part of the solution!

The chapter meetings take place at

The Still Room,

1609 W Broadway. Missoula 6:30pm

Whether you're a seasoned angler or just love hearing great stories, this is an event you won’t want to miss! Join us for an evening of inspiration, camaraderie, and a shared passion for wild places and wild fish.

See you there!
